It has aptly captured the essence of the true heartfelt feelings of a young Indian lad of 17-18 years who leaves the protective environment of his loving family and the warmth and comfort of his home to become a soldier and safeguard his nation especially from external threats at our borders where the bulk our Army is deployed.
Despite the frequent change of locations of his duty station from high rugged or ice capped mountains , thick humid jungles , hot deserts or plains, his dedication to protect his nation remains unshaken and firm . For this soldier it is always the country first ,himself and family last always and everytime . That is what makes the Indian Army what it is today - great !
