ADVISORY ROLE OF FORMER COMMANDANTS CAN ENABLE & ENSURE CONTINUITY & GROWTH OF NDA - TEAM MVI

The 15 years old Victory India Campaign( VIC) and Mission Victory India ( MVI ) was formed with the advice ,support and contributions of several dedicated veterans from the three services and also academicians from NDA. Several former Comdts of NDA,IMA and OTA were / are part of VIC & MVI.
Despite collective and wholehearted efforts for past 15 years the VIC & MVI hasn't satisfactorily resolved or addressed the glaring flaws, shortcomings and weaknesses of the NDA selection and training systems. These have been amply elaborately highlighted for 15 years in numerous articles published in VIC books ,Fauji India Magazine and MVI website / portal .
With a view to help NDA to clearly identify, accept and address its deep rooted flaws,shortcomings and weaknesses it is recommended that all former Comdts of NDA are requested to play an active role for the continuity and growth of NDA to meet the present & future challenges.
Apparently, there has been no past precedence or protocol for this type of role for former Comdts. Team MVI (which already has some former NDA Comdts on our platform/ portal )advocates that our former Comdts start playing a more active role for the growth and continuity of NDA by sending their views, suggestions and recommendations to the presently serving Comdt . However, this process needs to be formalized by the serving Comdt at his discretion in consultation with former Comdts.
To initiate / trigger this idea/ process MVI is attaching the PDFs of six articles on NDA that were written 15 years back ( 2011/ 12) and are part of Victory India Campaign books vol. 1& 2 .
Six of these articles are written by four former NDA Comdts .
MVI requests all former Comdts of NDA to kindly peruse/ read these at articles at their convenience and consider writing their own views and recommendations as full fledged articles as was done by four former NDA Comdts. These articles will be published by MVI as valuable input for the serving Comdt and environment too.
MVI also requests the authors of the attached six articles to review what they wrote 15 years back ,its present relevance for growth and continuity of NDA. They may if they wish pen down their present views and recommendations which MVI will publish.
We are certain that the subtle well considered inputs / contributions from our worthy former Comdts in form of articles will surely help the present incumbent and future ones also , to reach the right conclusions on critical issues confronting NDA and facilitate chalking out the right solutions for NDA and lead it on the path of Victory India!

There is no doubt that inputs from former commandants will help a new commandant, who is taking over, to enrich himself and get up to speed very quickly. A Blue book, a board of directors consisting of former senior officers, especially commandants and dy-commandants... Are solutions that can offer similar input. This is a simple solution capable of profound impact... Any incumbent commandant can initiate a feedback mechanism of this kind. And that can facilitate stability and preservation of quality in NDA culture...
